Introducing ApproveEase – Zero friction approvals
New

Draft approvals, quick one-off sign-offs, and a calmer send

Build an approval, look it over, then send when you're ready. Fire off a one-off approval in a single screen. And watch every send happen with a clear, reassuring progress screen.

Getting an approval out the door should feel deliberate, not nerve-wracking. This update is all about control at the moment you hit send: room to review before anything reaches a client, a faster path for the small stuff, and a send flow that shows you exactly what's happening.

Draft first, send when you're ready

New approvals now start life as a draft. You create one, land straight on it, and nothing goes to the client until you say so. No email fires, the task stays put, and the approval is hidden from your client's view until you send it.

That gives you a proper review gate: check the wording, the price, and who it's going to, then send to the client as a first-class action that's always one click away. It's the difference between "published the second I finished typing" and "sent when I was happy with it".

For your agency, that's fewer half-finished approvals slipping out, and a lot less of the sinking feeling that you've emailed a client something before it was ready.

New approvals open as a draft: review the detail, then Send to client when you're ready. Until you do, the client sees nothing.

Simple approvals for the quick stuff

Not every sign-off needs the full task wizard. Simple approvals let you spin up a quick, one-off approval from a single screen: one form, and you're on the review page ready to publish and send.

Underneath, it's still a normal task and approval, so conversation, request-changes and resubmit, assignment, history, and everything in your reporting all work exactly as they would otherwise. It's just a shorter road in for the small, standalone asks that don't warrant a whole project.

A single screen for one-off approvals: fill it in, add a price if you need one, then review and send. Perfect for the quick asks that don't need a full project.

A send you can actually watch

When you publish or send, you now get a clear progress screen that shows each step as it happens, right through to a confident "Approval sent". No more clicking send and wondering whether anything actually left the building.

We've also made room for the way you really work: you can publish an approval without sending it, and managing recipients now happens in a tidy popup rather than fiddly inline editing, so it's easy to get the right people on the right approval before it goes.

Three ApproveEase progress screens side by side: sending a reminder to recipients, an Approved confirmation, and a task being published and sent to recipients, each showing the people involved and a live status.
Sending, publishing, and approving now show their work, step by step, so you always know exactly what's happened and who's been told.

Smaller things that smooth the day

  • Optional descriptions: task and approval descriptions are no longer required, so you can move quickly when the title says it all.
  • Sharper Insights numbers: we fixed a couple of issues that could distort your revenue view, including paid extras on free or price-on-application approvals now counting correctly, and some historical dates that were inflating totals. The figures you see are more trustworthy.
  • A batch of quiet fixes across the send and approval flows, so the everyday path feels steadier.
